Multiplying Fractions Test #1

In this Section:

In this section, we learn how to multiply two or more fractions together. To find the product of two or more fractions, we multiply the numerators together and place the result over the product of the denominators. Once we are done, we simplify the resulting fraction using the methods discussed in the previous section. We can also utilize a shortcut known as cross canceling. This allows us to simplify before we perform the multiplication. To do this, we simply cancel any common factors between any numerator and any denominator. Afterwards, we multiply as usual and the result will be reduced to lowest terms.
