In this section, we will learn how to perform another basic operation with decimals: multiplication.
In order to multiply two or more decimals together, we first rewrite the numbers without any decimals involved. Essentially, we are pretending that
we are simply multiplying whole numbers together. We write our answer, and then look to each original number for guidance. Our next step is to count
the total number of decimal places between all factors in the problem. Once this is done, we return to our earlier answer and place a visible decimal
point at the end of the number. We then move our decimal point one place to the left for each decimal place that we counted between all factors of the original problem.
