About Graphing Inequalities:

When we graph a linear inequality in two variables, we have two different approaches. We can solve for y, graph the boundary line, and shade above the line for a greater than or below the line for a less than. We can also graph the boundary line and use a test point.

Test Objectives
  • Demonstrate the ability to draw the boundary line
  • Demonstrate the ability to graph an inequality with the test point method
  • Demonstrate the ability to graph an inequality by solving for y
