When we subtract integers, we change the subtraction problem to addition of the opposite. For example: -5 - 7 = -5 + (-7) = -12. We always keep the first number the same, change the subtraction to addition, and change the sign of what’s being subtracted away.

Test Objectives
• Demonstrate the ability to change a subtraction problem to addition of the opposite
• Demonstrate the ability to perform a subtraction with two integers
• Demonstrate the ability to perform a subtraction with more than two integers
