De Moivre's Theorem

About:
Additional Resources:

In this lesson, we will learn about De Moivre's Theorem. De Moivre's Theorem allows us to quickly find powers of complex numbers in polar form. Additionally, we will use De Moivre's Theorem to find the roots of complex numbers. We can say that any nonzero complex number has n distinct nth roots. This is just a fancy way to say a complex number has 2 square roots, 3 cube roots, 4 fourth roots, and so on and so forth. Lastly, we will learn how to solve equations using roots of complex numbers and graph the roots or solutions on the Argand diagram.
