Solving Trigonometric Inequalities

About:
Additional Resources:

In this lesson, we will learn how to solve trigonometric inequalities. These types of problems require different strategies based on the given scenario. For an easier example, we can isolate the trigonometric function on one side and have a number on the other. We can then obtain our solution from the unit circle. For harder problems, we will first make the right side zero, and then find the critical values. This is done by solving the related equation and finding any points where our trigonometric function is undefined. From there, we can set up intervals on the number line and use test points to find our solution.
