Geometric Sequences and Series

In this lesson, we will learn about geometric sequences and series. A geometric sequence, which is also known as a geometric progression, is a sequence in which each term after the first is obtained by multiplying the preceding term by a fixed nonzero real number. The fixed nonzero real number is known as the common ratio and is denoted by a lowercase r. Additionally, we will learn how to evaluate finite and infinite geometric series.
